Another great image from you. I love how the focus is very accurately set on the characters in the foreground, with more bold colors, I think is a very good move. As for the details in the background, I think it looks great, the lighter colors as mentioned, draw less attention than the characters but still looks good and very detailed, I guess the only thing that looks off is the column in the far left which seems like it disappears in the clouds, however you need to pay close attention to notice it. Another thing is that the upper left corner seems a little too empty, I know the most important point in the picture is on the right, but even so it looks a little odd to have that many space in the upper left corner. I love what you did with the bird and the rose, maybe if you placed them more to the left you would've achieved an even better composition, that's personal opinion of course. Overall, well done! Perspective and anatomy are very well done here too, great and impressive image!
Critique: First thing that comes to mind: "Wow." This is a FANTASTIC piece; the detail is astounding. I love how you colored the rose, and the tiny roses in the background are a beautiful touch. I love the bird (it almost blends into the scenery, but pops just enough) and the feather in the bottom is exquisite in the way it catches the light. The pillars have great detail, and I love the slight transparency in the parts of her dress and the cloth on his spear. Clothing looks good here, aside from his shirt; really could use more folds. For how tiny the faces are, shading and details are good. The only other thing I notice is that I don't feel as though the brown on her dress fits in. It seems to be a bit disharmonious with the other colors used. However, that's just a preference thing, an doesn't detract too much from the picture.
